This blackberry honey is a single-source varietal, which means the bees foraged almost exclusively on blackberry bushes. It is light and fruity, one of the rare kinds of honey that actually tastes (a bit) like the fruit that the bees pollinated.

We found this honey in southern Washington state and loved it so much, we made friends with the beekeepers, bought 300 lbs of their excellent product, and drove it all the way back to Altadena to add to our selection.
